Progressive 8 Cup French Style Coffee & Tea Press Review

I have used coffee presses for years and this model is great because the carafe is all glass and plastic - no metal.I can put the carafe (minus lid, which does conatin metal) directly in the microwave. I heat the water on high power for 4 1/2 minutes, add coffee grounds, stir, wait a minute, then press. Fast, Simple, Space Saving. I take this on campouts and on vacations, too.

1.7L ELECTRIC KETTLE Review

This is the 3rd electric teakettle I have purchased recently. The last one purchased through Amazon burnet a hole in the bottom in just a few months. This one also with an American product name of course like all the rest was made in China. Do I expect it to last? Not really! It is very cheaply and poorly made.

Gaggia MDF Coffee Grinder with Doser Review

For $200 this coffee grinder sucks.It's missing nice/easy to add features, like rubber stoppers on the bottom!!Both hands are busy, one holding the espresso handle and one operating the doser and the machine slides all over the counter.Also the doser never worked on my machine.It never dispensed the correct amount of coffee...and the coffee that came out of the dispenser went everywhere.Plus the dispenser handle was less than smooth to pull.I hate this machine.

Cuisinart DGB-600BC Grind and Brew Coffee Maker (Brushed Chrome) w/ DGB-600RC Thermal Carafe Review

We Louisianans like our coffee pretty brawny, and you just can't get good, strong brew from this machine. I brought the first one back, and traded for a different one (same model) because I thought it was defective. Ended up taking #2 back, too, for a refund.
While your typical brew-only machine might have 3-4 parts, this one (I think) has 7 or 8. After making the coffee, the entire grinding portion has to be disassembled and cleaned (bean cup with lid, blades, chute) - much of the actual ground beans are trapped here, and all these parts are thickly coated with wet, steamy bean sludge.
All would be forgiven if the coffee was delightful, but it is merely lackluster and uninspired.
Good idea, but not well executed.

Steaming - Frothing Pitcher 33oz. Review

That's what I am talking about.I fill this with milk to just below the inside of the spout, stick the starbucks thermometer on the lip(the one that has a plastic coated top that is color coded for the temperature) and steam the milk.You can see the swirling action as the foam rises to the top of the pitcher with beautiful micro bubbles.I use this every day.It is perfect!
