Bialetti 1-Cup Electric Mukka Express Review

I received the Bialetti 1-Cup Electric Mukka Express Cappuccino Maker after a very disappointing experience with Krups latest item. Upon returning Krups for a full refund, I was pleasantly surprised by this small machine. What makes this machine so great is:
1-it is easy to use, just add water, espresso grounds, and milk (will even froth fat-free milk!)
2-plug in the base and push the button, then just go about your business as this little miracle brews and froths a tasty surprise for you (it takes 5-6 mintues)
3-easy to pour and wash. No small parts that will break or get lost and the parts seem to be VERY durable
4-the design is very handsome and easy to store on your counter top until next use since it is small thus not taking up much room

I would recommend this product to any casual coffee/cappuccino drinker who enjoys a tasty brew during the week and doesn't want to fork out money to trot to "4 Bucks"

Bialetti 1-Cup Electric Mukka Express - Cow Print Review

I have both the manual Bialetti Mukka Express and the electric Bialetti Mukka Express.I had no problems with the manual model even using soy milk.I happened to come across a new electric model at BBB marked down to $44 and couldn't pass it up.I have made cappuccino with the electric using coffee that I ground myself using the "finest" setting on the coffee mill.The cappuccino came out perfect every time whether using soy milk or regular milk.I decided to buy pre-ground Starbucks Expresso Roast instead of grinding the beans myself.I noticed immediately that their coffee is not ground as fine as what I normally do myself.Well, the cappuccino was awful.It did not foam at all and not all of the coffee came up from the bottom.I re-ground the Starbucks Expresso coffee through my coffee mill to the finest ground.Guess what!It works now!Make sure you use the finest grounds possible to get this machine to work properly! This probably holds true for the manual machine as well.

Miallegro 1090 Coffee Maker 12-cup Automatic Drip Review

This is the third Miallegro product I've bought, and like it as much as the other two.I got their MiTutto hand blender (real powerful!) and a fan before.Since they looked stylish and have held up well, I decided to go for this coffee maker.I had a Senseo before, but thought the pads were a bit pricey - so I wanted something easy and simple but still looked good.

The coffee maker doesn't really come with any bells n' whistles - instead, it's just easy to use, pretty reliable and shuts off automatically after an hour or so.I do like the permanent filter that's included - no need to buy the paper ones any more.I just take it out and rinse the grinds out in the sink.

One drawback is that it doesn't seem to really make 12 big cups.I started poking around, and it seems they're basing it on European-sized coffee cups, which are smaller than the big American ones.So, expect to make about 9 or 10 Yankee-size cups o' Joe.

So, i'm still very satisfied with my Miallegro purchases and will probably buy from them again.

Professional Series Espresso Maker - PS77791 Review

the mashine lasted 1 month after the warranty expiration than the gasket broke. after various attempts to reach a customer rep he told me that as a 1 time courtesy he will send me one. i wanted to purchase a couple as a reserve but he told me they don't sell it and if it brakes again i'll just have to buy a new mashine, mind you this one was 13 months old. that gasket lasted exactly 6 months, now i'm getting me a delonghi, at least i can buy parts for it and they have great customer service and not an answering mashine that tells you to leave a message....well don't hold your breath cause they won't, no matter how many messages u leave. cem global is the company that deals with professional series appliances, they certainly lost me as a customer for any of their products since they can't stand behind it like any reputable company would.

Briel ES200APG Multi-Pro Stainless Pump Espresso with Auto Espresso Flow Review

I've been traveling to Europe for over 25 years and truly am a loverof Espresso coffee. Our family has owned an espresso machine for atleast the last 15 years. Out of all the machines that I've tried, I feel the machine that I currently own, The Multi-Pro 1-Group unit from Briel is the best I've ever tried. I first read about this in the New York Times February 25,1998 where Suzanne Hamlin talked about Espresso Artistry at Home. There she recommended this machine for it's consistently superb crema. It can use either ground coffee or the coffee pods, which are great. I paid over...for my machine so at...it's a real bargain. I rate this machine very high and would highly suggest purchasing it if you are a serious lover of espresso/cappuccino.

DeLonghi BCO110 Caffe Figaro Espresso, Cappuccino, and Coffee Bar Review

I own one of this machines for a year.The cappuccino's milk acrylic tank do not supports the high temperatures that must be reached in order to frog the milk in a cutting-edge stream of steam technology.The acrylic tank -espontaneously- begin to crack in a nice surrealistic pattern in less than a couple of months (or about 20 times of use) and the sylicone packings begin to drift around the cylinders, spraying the steam in other directions than in the tank circuit pipes.I found a cloging problem too, maybe due to the water's hardness.
Also, the thermostat included in the coffee-maker side do not regulates wisely the temperature.If you let the coffee-maker auto-regulate the temperature for more than 15 minutes after dripped, you are in risk to drink a cooked "sour coffee".
I'm a costarican coffee taster and prefer the german home models of cappuccino machines and coffee-makers (Krups, Braun).Nevertheless, the italians has the glory in developing these technologies, by now we only can enjoy this great tastes in commercial not-for-home-users coffee machines.
I has read the other writers point of view about this coffee machine and I respect their opinion, but that was not my experience with Delonghi coffee machines. Maybe mine was made on a Monday!!
