Frieling 0105 Creamer/Frothing Pitcher Review

I will be the first to admit that I was highly attracted to the physical design of this pitcher.On that account, it holds up.This is a beautifully made piece of kitchen gear, with a nice mirrored finish on the outside, made from heavy gauge steel, and a nice, solid-feeling (I guess it could be solid) handle.

Where this item falls short for me is in its small volume as a frothing pitcher.I will also be the first to admit that this is an error on my part, but a 10 ounce pitcher sounded like more than enough for my needs.The problem is, the expansion of the milk as you foam it means you'll be overfilling this pitcher like a Homer Simpson beer.

This was my first frothing pitcher.Three weeks later, I went and bought a 24 ounce pitcher at a local kitchen supply store.If you only want to foam 2-3 ounces of milk at a a time, this is the pitcher for you.If you have dreams of large, creamy lattes (especially if you have dreams of more than one of them), this may not be the item for you.
